Saul Bass: Anatomy of a Murder Title Sequence Analysis

The effectiveness of the opening title sequence is very prominent. First, the dismembered body has to do with the film, Anatomy of a Murder because the film is about a murder and the body laying on the floor in separate parts is clear symbolism of that. Also, the way the title fo the film and the names of those involved in it are displayed in separate body parts highlights the idea that in this movie they are trying to piece together the parts of a murder.
