Why

For my group’s opening title sequence, we also wanted to visibly show our hacker hacking the scammers.

How

I recorded myself typing from the hacking simulator (https://hackertyper.net/) for forty seconds. Then, I copy and pasted text from the code and went on google maps and pasted in an address and slowly zoomed in on it. I took the footage and put it in Adobe After Effects, an editing software I have been using for three years and put combined it all and I also added the effect ‘S_TVDamage’ to give it lines that make it look like it would belong in a film about hacking.

Google Maps

I decided to use google maps because it shows the audience that you can use simple software avail bile to everyone to do big things like hacking. If this were a real film, stereotypically young boys would be inspired by this and may want to pursue a career in computer software or go into the tech industry because you don’t need big expensive software to do anything. My group also decided on the location to zoom in

Outcome

I am happy with the final outcome of this video. It fits perfectly with our sequence and I am excited for everyone to see what I made.
